H.S. students compete in Knowledge Bowl challenge

Sixteen teams of students from high schools located throughout ESD 113 have earned the right to participate in the state Knowledge Bowl competition. Knowledge Bowl is an inter-school academic competition involving all nine Educational Service District regions in Washington.
Teams from all classes of high schools in ESD 113 participated in a regional competition at the ESD 113 office in Olympia in February. Thirty-six teams of students from 30 school districts and one private school took part in the event. Teri Hulbert, Ocosta teacher, coordinated the regional event
1B schools: Pe Ell and Wishkah Valley
2B schools: Napavine, Northwest Christian A, Adna, Morton and Mossyrock
1A schools: Rochester, Toledo, Rainier and Montesano
2A schools: Black Hills (Tumwater), Hoquiam, W.F. West (Chehalis)
3A schools: North Thurston
4A schools: Olympia
