About Us:

Many individuals have trouble learning academic skills. Every day a wide range of learning, behavioral, emotional, and physical problems interfere with some students participating effectively and fully benefiting from the instruction teachers provide. Problems stemming from restricted opportunities associated with poverty, difficult family conditions, high mobility, lack of English skills, violence, substance abuse, inadequate health care and lack of enrichment opportunities also interfere with students’ ability to come to school each day and learn in the most effective manner. The ESD 113 Student Support Team is dedicated to helping students, families, schools and community partners address the root causes of these problems so all youngsters have an equal opportunity to learn.
